Inspection Department

We have a fully air conditioned, dedicated inspection department which is extremely well equipped.

Equipment includes:-

Mitutoyo FN905 High Accuracy model 3 Axis co-ordinate measuring machine with Renishaw MP10 motorised probe and full CNC control of all axes.  This machine is equipped with QCT Inspect 3D Software. This software is capable of storing all part data, so measurements can be recalled  and checked at any time without re-measuring.  (even after parts have been delivered should the need arise). Other equipment includes a, Trimos digital height measuring machine, supporting vernier callipers, micrometers, surface finish testing equipment and microscopes. We also have a whole host of other gauges and equipment for in process inspection to support our manufacturing facilities.  Specific SPC can also be carried out to customers requirements.

All equipment is calibrated at regular intervals as part of our registration to BS EN ISO9002 and is fully traceable to national standards.
